The short answer

You own your content. Always.

While active

  • Searcle hosts and maintains content

  • Content is refreshed automatically

  • Ownership never changes

If you stop using Searcle

Default option

  • Content remains hosted for a small ongoing fee

  • No new content or updates

Re-hosting option

  • You request export

  • You host and maintain it yourself

  • Redirects are your responsibility

Ownership does not change in either case.

What Searcle does not do

  • Claim ownership

  • Automatically migrate content

  • Manage redirects

Bottom line

You own the content. Searcle runs the system while you’re active. You choose what happens when you leave.
