Set Up and Manage Workspace Access and Team Members.

Instructions for managing user access and team members in your Searcle workspace.

Who this is for

This article is for Searcle workspace users who need to manage team access and understand workspace roles.

What you’ll do

You’ll learn how to:

  • Open the Team page

  • Invite new team members

  • Understand roles and user status

  • Remove team members from the workspace​

Start here: open the Team page

  1. Sign in to Searcle.

  2. Click Team in the top navigation bar. (top-right corner).

This opens the Team page, where you can view and manage everyone with access to your workspace.

View your team

On the Team page, you’ll see a list of all users in your workspace, including:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Role

  • Status

Status indicates whether a user has accepted their invitation and is active in the workspace.

Understand team roles

Searcle currently supports two roles:

Owner

  • Full access to the workspace

  • Can invite team members

  • Can remove team members

Member

  • Full access to workspace features

  • Can invite team members

Invite team members

Any user in the workspace can invite teammates.

To invite a team member:

  1. Click Invite members.

  2. Enter one or more email addresses (comma-separated).

  3. Click Invite.

Each invited user receives an email with a link to accept the invitation.

Once accepted, they:

  • Are added to the Team list

  • Can log in immediately

  • Have full workspace access

Remove team members

Only Owners can remove users from a workspace.

To remove a team member:

  1. Open the Team page.

  2. Find the user you want to remove.

  3. Click the delete (trash) icon next to their name.

Removal takes effect immediately. The user will no longer be able to access the workspace.

How to confirm success

You’ve successfully managed team access when:

  • Invited users appear in the Team list after accepting their invite

  • Active users can log in and access the workspace

  • Removed users no longer appear in the Team list

Troubleshooting

An invited user didn’t receive the email

  • Ask them to check spam or promotions folders

  • Confirm the email address was entered correctly

  • Send the invitation again

A user accepted the invite but can’t access the workspace

  • Ask them to refresh the page or sign out and back in

  • Confirm their status shows as Active on the Team page

  • If the issue persists, contact Searcle support

I don’t see the option to remove a team member

  • Only Owners can remove users

  • If you’re not an Owner, ask an Owner to remove the user
