1. Add Your Subdomain in Searcle

In Searcle → Hosting, you’ll see two CNAME records:

  1. Content record

    • Connects your subdomain (e.g., ai) to Searcle.

  2. SSL verification record

    • Long string starting with _ used to issue HTTPS.

Each shows:

  • Type: CNAME

  • Name: Provided by Searcle

  • Value: Copy exactly as shown

2. Add the DNS Records (Shopify or Your Domain Provider)

Go to your domain’s DNS settings and add both CNAME records.

➡️ Do NOT delete or modify your existing Shopify A or CNAME records for your store — they power your live site.

3. Verify Your Domain

  1. Return to Searcle → Hosting

  2. Click Verify DNS configuration

  3. Once verified, your content will go live within minutes

DNS propagation: 5 minutes → 24–48 hours
If it fails at first, wait and try again later.

🔒 Safety Tips

  • Don’t remove your root domain’s A record — that hosts your main Shopify site.

  • DNS must match exactly (no extra spaces or missing dots).

  • If you use Cloudflare, ensure Proxy = DNS Only for these records.
